Brad Pitt, who played Lt. Aldo Raine in the dark comedy, did not attend tonight’s award and one reporter asked if the cast had called Pitt and what he said.
“(He texted) LOL,” deadpanned B.J. Novak, of TV’s The Office, who played a small role as PFC Smithson Utivich.
Reporter: So, uh, do any of you have Brad Pitt's cell phone number? Have you called him or texted him?
Christoph Waltz: We all did!
Reporter: What did he say? What was his response?
BJ Novak: "LOL," he said.
